Let’s talk for a moment about being busy. We’re all so busy these days, aren’t we? Getting kids to school, making calls, attending meetings, making space to exercise and have a spiritual practice. . . it seems that there aren’t enough hours in the day to get it all done.

But, there’s a big difference between busy and productive 😉

I’ve always been excited to show up and do the work. Even when I was an employee, I gave it my ALL. My first job was stocking shelves at the small town grocery store when I was in high school. By the time I gave my notice (I was upgrading my job from stock girl to hostess at the local Chinese restaurant), my boss refused to let me go because I was so stellar at stocking canned foods on Aisle 5 😉

I treated even the insignificant jobs like they were the most important ones.

When my oldest child was 5, I entered the stay-at-home mom lifestyle — and I LOVED it. I learned a lot of valuable lessons from staying at home with little ones, but one of the most important lessons was this:

I learned that I like being in charge of my day.
In charge of my schedule.
In charge of my priorities.
In charge of my life!

Honestly, I declared entire weeks, “NO LAUNDRY Week!” (Can ya feel me on that one?)

But I also realized during that time that I wanted more for my life. More empowerment, more choices about how to spend my time, and more financial abundance for myself and for my family.

Many of you know my story, so I’ll just tell you the executive summary here –> I found Network Marketing, and even though at the time, it still had a relatively negative stigma around it, I was determined to give it my all.

I dove in, like many people do, but I was quickly hit with the realization that I didn’t have the right mindset for success on my own.

I knew nothing about business, I had no social media account, and I had poor to no social skills (I’d been shy my entire life! When you go through life owning a label of “awkward” or “shy” or even “introverted”, it’s easy to assume you get a free pass AKA an excuse to avoid social interactions, connections, and experiences that help you grow.)

But to be successful in business, especially direct sales, I knew I’d have to put myself out there. On pretty much every level and using “shy” as an excuse wasn’t going to cut it.

I had to learn and cultivate the mindset of figure it out, girl.
I had to figure out how to go on coffee dates as a “shy introvert”.
I had to figure out how to recruit women to want to work on my team.
I had to figure out how the heck to sell!

And for the record, pretty much everything is sales and recruiting…from enlisting volunteers for the school carnival, to inspiring people to join your charitable cause, or even to join you for lunch!

So you know the rest of the story, right? I figured it out (and still am every single day)! I learned and most importantly, I practiced.

The more you accomplish, the more you realize that you can accomplish more.

This is the magic of shifting your mindset; you take action and figure it out along the journey.

Let me be real with you for a second; with all the success I’ve had in direct sales, I thought I knew a lot about business! But then I launched an online business from scratch and ohhhhh girrrl, that was an entirely different ballgame.

I spent nights and weekends learning sales funnels, how to build a website, how to hire (and fire) team members, and the intense and vulnerable skillset of creating my own products. It was hard, girl, and it’s still hard. But in the process, I’ve created a woman and a mission and a tribe that I’m proud of.

My mission is to empower you to chase the whisper and that starts with shifting your mindset. Skills are something you can pick up along the way…that’s actually the easy part! The mindset, though, is where the magic is.

That’s why I created a 4 part video training to help you develop the mindset to take you from where you are now to where you want to go. This mini-series is stacked with the truths I’ve discovered along the success path that created the confidence to start over, do something different, and pave a path that was uniquely mine…so that you can do the same.

Oh, and it’s FREE.
